Inconel 600 is a nonmagnetic, nickel-chromium alloy with high nickel and chromium contents. Its chemical composition provides excellent resistance to corrosion in many organic and inorganic environments, as well as good resistance to chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking and oxidation at elevated temperatures.

Inconel 600 is a stable austenitic solid-solution alloy with good strength, ductility and corrosion resistance. Its mechanical properties make it suitable for demanding applications involving elevated temperatures and corrosive environments.

• High-temperature Resistance: Inconel 600, also known as N06600 nickel alloy, forms a stable austenitic solid solution at high temperatures, where nickel atoms effectively inhibit dislocation movement, enhancing the material's strength and preventing deformation at elevated temperatures.
